MAZDA has always been a car company to defy convention. Hell, they have a rotary engine in their cars. (Please don’t ask me what a rotary engine is btw.) So, when they wanted to launch their new CX-5 vehicle in Canada they chose to defy convention yet again.

 

We didn’t shoot the car on a beautiful winding road in the gleaming summer sunshine. We took it to Iceland. With a surfer. In the grey – and bloody freezing -- fall.
